14th Annual Conference

 The IAS 14th Annual Conference of the Irish Association of Suicidology was held on the 5th of October in Sligo. The event was attended by 300 delegates from statutory bodies, voluntary organisations and healthcare organisations who work in the field of self-harm treatment and suicide prevention. The theme for the conference was Deliberate Self-Harm. The Michael Kelleher memorial Lecture was delivered by Keith hawton, Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Centre for Suicide Research at Oxford University.
